Location:  Aberdeen, Scotland, U.K

Relationships:
Directly Reports to: 1) Operations Manager
                                   2) HSSE Manager (Functional)

Directly Supervises: Nil

Basic Functions:

• To provide direct support to the Onshore and Offshore Operations Group in the areas of Health, Safety, Security and Environment in all aspects of Operations activity.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Monitor and advise on offshore HSSE performance
• Direct offshore HSSE Advisors to achieve common standards
• Co-ordinate the development of offshore HSSE plans and monitor progress of same
• Advise Operations Management on regulatory matters
• Provide HSSE guidance to OIM’s

Qualifications:

Essential:

• NEBOSH, IOSH or similar qualification

Preferred:

• Degree qualified

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

Essential:

• Working knowledge of the HSSE requirements within the UKCS regulatory regime
• Minimum of 5 years HSSE-related experience in the Oil and Gas industry, part of which should include direct offshore experience.
• Good communication, co-ordination and facilitation skills.
• IT literate: Applicable database/s, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) to intermediate level
