TAQA North Ltd
TAQA North, formerly Northrock Resources Limited is a Calgary-based oil and gas exploration company with operations in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and the Northwest Territories.
Northrock was acquired by TAQA in August 2007 from Pogo Producing Company and amalgamated with TAQA North. TAQA North has subsequently entered into agreements to acquire Pioneer Canada Ltd., a subsidiary of US-based Pioneer Natural Resources Company, and Calgary-based PrimeWest Energy Trust.
Today, TAQA North has a diversified asset base with operations in both Canada (British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan) and the United States (Montana, North Dakota and Wyoming).
